All types and sizes of hard chrome electroplating can be undertaken - ranging in sizes up to 18 meters and including:
- Nickel/Chrome electroplating
- Bronze/chrome plating.
- Internal bore hard chrome electroplating.
- Electroless nickel plating
- Re-chroming of existing equipment
- Nitride coatings
- Ceramic coatings
- Re-sizing of worn or damaged areas
- Corrosion protection coatings applied
- Hard protective coatings applied
Often used for decorative purposes, chrome plating can also provide effective corrosion resistance and increased surface hardness.
This approach is useful in creating additional corrosion resistance, but can also be used to seal the substrate before subsequent hard chroming.
Internal Bore Hard Chrome Electroplating
In conjuction with our honing capability we can also offer internal bore hard chrome electroplating which provides a smooth hardwearing and corrosion resistant surface for the inside of cylinders - benefitting performance as well as overall assembly life.
Electroless Nickel Plating
This type of nickel plating is used to deposit a coating of nickel on metal or plastic, to prevent corrosion and wear. Applying the coating without the need for electrical charges can provide a more even surface and, correctly configured, can deposit on to non-conductive surfaces such as plastic.
