Standard lengths available up to 7 meters
Specialised Materials
For specialised applications, piston rods can also be manufactured from any specified materials such as:
- 17-4ph Stainless steel,
- Super Duplex,
- 316L Stainless steel
- any other practical material.
Piston Rod Coating
Piston rod coating can be undertaken in a number of ways. Common options are:
- Micro cracked flash Hard chrome ( Standard off the shelf)
- Duplex Hard Chrome plated ( double layer)
- Heavy deposit Hard chrome layer ( re-chroming or chroming finished article as it cannot be machined)
- Hard chromed with a Nickel base deposit. ( Marine specification)
- Hard chromed with a Bronze base deposit. ( Marine specification)
- Ceramic coated ( Corrosion, abrasion resistant)
